Baccalaureate – Wednesday, June 2, 2010 TBA
Awards Night Rehearsal – Thursday, June 3, 2010 @ Liberty Theatre, 11am
Awards Night – Thursday, June 3, 2010 @ Liberty Theatre, 7pm
Graduation Rehearsal – Friday, June 4, 2010 @ AHS, 8am
(Graduation rehearsal is MANDATORY for all seniors who are walking)
Event Details:
Awards Night: All students who applied for Astoria Scholarship Inc should plan to attend to accept their scholarship. All students are invited to attend, whether or not they are accepting an award, however this event is not mandatory. Those planning to participate in Awards Night must attend Awards Night Rehearsal. Seniors will dress in caps and gowns at Awards Night, but it is not necessary to bring caps and gowns to rehearsal. Following Awards Night, there will be a reception in the McTavish Room of the Liberty Theatre.
Baccalaureate: This event will honor graduating seniors through a religious ceremony. This event is optional. This event will be hosted by the senior class and the local Christian Ministerial society. Please contact Senior Class President, Marilyn Brooks, at 503-791-9963 or marilyn.brooks@live.com for more information.
Graduation: Tickets are not required for the graduation ceremony, although seating is first come first served and saving seats is prohibited. Doors will open at 2pm. If you have a family member with special needs (ex. Wheelchair, needs to sit by an exit, etc.) please contact Darla in the main office to arrange for special seating (503)325-3911.
